I have a bay type window on a curved wall. I wanted a curtain track that allowed me to pull the curtains all to one side or the other, or to the middle with one track. This worked so well!
I set everything up by myself and found it to be relatively easy for a person who is not too tool savvy (I own a drill and a hammer – I borrowed a hacksaw to cut the track). I had to lay the track out flat for a few days and after that it was a breeze to snap it into the attachments. I was very happily surprised by how well the track naturally followed the curve of my wall. I left the screws slightly loose while I put the track up so the attachments could find the correct angles to accomodate the curve, and then went back and tightened them down after everything was set up.

I used this curtain track for the shower in my bathroom because I needed to put a curtain around my freestanding tub and it was WAY easier to install than I thought it was going to be! It was a bit difficult just from having to hold your arms over your head to screw in the holders but other than that it was easy and looks great. The only tips would be that you have to remove the track from the box and let the track flatten for a day or so before putting it up and when we got near the end of installing the track on the ceiling, it was way easier to click the track in the holders and then screw those in rather than attaching them to the ceiling and then trying to click the track in.

We have a rectangular bay window – for nearly five years, we’ve struggled with no less than four different curtain rails. We tried a pole with 90 degree corners (the rings got stuck), a flat strip with clips (the clips got stuck) and the IKEA VIDGA rail with “gliders” (the gliders did not glide at all).
This rail solves the problem easily with a track and little wheels on the gliders (an idea IKEA apparently couldn’t come up with). It just works. The gliders go smoothly around the corner like you’d expect and glide on effortlessly.

Was skeptical at first but it worked perfect for what we needed. The rail comes rolled up. Did not know that. It it a hard plastic and the instructions say to lay flat with some heavy on it for 24 hours or you can use a hair dryer or submerge in hot water. We used the hair dryer and it worked great to soften the plastic and straighten out. That was the only hard part of the whole install.
